Amazing Bloody Maria: with Photos

Bloody Marias are by far my favorite drink to have with brunch. Nothing helps a late night (ehhh, hangover) better than a huge breakfast with the perfect drink. The best part about these tho, is you can have them any time of day, and its always totally acceptable. Wooo!!

The first time I made one of these for my best friend she interrupted whatever I was saying by hugging me, and going on about how good it was. Then she said she wanted to punch me in the face and steal me away. Yeah. They’re really good.

 Ingredients

  • Tequila
  • V8 or tomato juice
  • Horseradish
  • Worcestershire
  • Limes, washed
  • Black pepper
  • Olives, pitted
  • Pickle spears
  • Pepperoncini
  • and ice

Tools you will need

  • Pint glasses
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Spoon or fork

*Hint: Less is not more when it comes to the perfect Bloody Maria. When in doubt add more.

 Per glass….

Fill up a pint glass with ice.

Add a healthy tbsp of horseradish (Extra for me!) and eye out about a ¼ tsp of black pepper.  Or about 4 shakes from a table shaker.

Shake in 3 to 5 squirts of Worcestershire. Mmmm….

Pour in about a tsp of the “dirty” olive, and ½ a tsp of pepperoncini, jar juice.

Cut 1 lime and squeeze. Squeeeeeeeeeze! Adding some of the pulp to the glass.

Tequila! Start pouring and count: 1…., 2….., 3…, 4!

Top with V8…

…. and shake!

Add pickle, olives, pepperoncini, and enjoy!

 Cheers!
